Redesigned with style and performance in mind, this all-new HPS Performance Red Air Intake Kit with Heat Shield (part number 827-783R) replaces 2nd Gen Acura TLX Type S 3.0L Turbo restrictive stock intake tubing and air filter housing with a 3.5" mandrel-bent aircraft grade aluminum tube. The kit includes a reusable high-flow cotton air filter for maximum power gains.

With the turbocharger sitting high up in the engine bay, heat was a concern when developing this intake kit. The specially designed heat shield features a lid that encloses the filter and integrates with the stock air scoop. This prevents radiant heat from entering the engine and directly feeds cooler, denser air to the intake to generate a noticeable difference in driving experience. The addition of the lid to the heat shield also adds an upgraded and clean look to your TLX Type-S engine bay while still enhancing the induction sound under heavy throttle. This intake kit includes durable HPS silicone couplers and stainless steel embossed hose clamps that are engineered to perform under toughest driving conditions.
