Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?
Like most third-party magnetic hoops, your DMP embroidery machine may not automatically identify the frame's size. You need to manually set the 12″ × 11.5″ (305 × 295 mm) hoop parameter in the software and verify your design fits inside the actual sewing field. This ensures precise stitching and avoids alignment errors during embroidery.
I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest t-shirt logos, we recommend MaggieFrame magnetic hoops between 4″ × 4″ (100 × 100 mm) and 5″ × 5″ (130 × 130 mm). They are ideal for logo embroidery on DMP machines while minimizing material waste. For larger front designs, try 10″ × 10″ (255 × 255 mm) or bigger frames to maintain high tension and design accuracy.
How can I keep my magnetic embroidery frame in top condition?
To extend your MaggieFrame frame’s lifespan, clean both magnetic surfaces regularly to remove lint or thread dust that can reduce grip. Avoid dropping the magnetic frame or exposing it to humidity. Periodically check screw tightness and bracket fittings for your DMP embroidery machine to maintain smooth hooping and stable fabric tension.
