作者
史丹福
喜歡科學又喜歡寫作的醫生，現於醫院的血液化驗室工作，希望透過寫作為推廣科學略盡綿力。大學時曾任醫學會學生報《啟思》（Caduceus）的副總編輯，其後開設「史丹福狂想曲」的博客及Facebook專頁，分享血液學及其他科學資訊。亦有多篇文章刊登於《立場新聞》科學版及《關鍵評論網》等媒體。
作者另一系列著作《血液狂想曲 1 ——走進血液的世界》獲選為第十八屆「十本好讀」「中學生最愛書籍」第七位。
