I’ve been here twice, and it never gets any less scary — no matter how many times you cross the bridge. There’s always that same rush of nerves mixed with excitement.
For this Carrick-a-Rede print, I first painted the scene traditionally, then scanned it in and added digital finishing touches to bring it all together. I wanted to capture both the drama of the height and the beauty of the coastline — that balance between fear and awe you feel standing there.
