The Track Edition retains all of the precision engineering from the Touring Edition, and the bullet-style resonator in the mid-pipe, minus AWE’s drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonators in the rear. The result? Rumble with minimal filter, both in and out of the cabin, at all speeds. This version is known to get rowdy and may be too much for many--prepare yourself - and it can’t be returned for sound preferences, you’ve been warned! (But AWE made it easy to turn it down if you need to with their Track-to-Touring conversion kit - a simple bolt-on so you don’t have to buy a whole other kit if the Track Edition turns out to be a bit much. Nice!). Out back, the tips boast a 4” diameter, a stamped AWE logo, and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. AWE tips are available in diamond black or chrome silver finish and are individually adjustable to allow depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. Time will tell
I’m always weary about how little or how much I spend on wiper blades. Typically wiper blades are a great example of you get what you pay for. When I’m looking to replace blades, though, I’ll often try and see what’s out there before I go spend $25 a piece on wipers. I came across these and they’re highly praised and so I figured why not. I cannot speak on their durability and longevity, but I can comment on my experience with them so far.
These are plastic blades. Keep that in mind. They are not heavy or rigid like a metal blade, but also don’t feel super cheap either. The quality of plastic seems adequate for what these things cost. Install is easy, and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. What I’m very impressed with is how clean of a wipe it makes. They don’t leave anything behind and I haven’t experienced any chatter. I don’t expect these to last as long as premium blades, but I also don’t make gamble purchases like this expecting unrealistic results. If they do happen to have a decent lifespan, then it’s a pleasant surprise and a great value.
